If Thunderbird returns the following error while syncing IMAP folders on a dovecot server, although you subscribed to the folders:
[box type=”info”] Error in IMAP command UID FETCH: Invalid uidset
This is most likely caused by using a “>” character in front of the folder’s name
Example:
>FAMILY
It can be fixed by renaming the imap folder on the server, without the special character:
FAMILY
[sdonations]1[/sdonations]
