So, you’re a new mac user and can’t find the print screen button on your imac, macbook or macbook air’s keyboard in order to take a screenshot on a mac?

Well, don’t be too harsh with yourself there’s no such button.

However, Apple is kind enough to provide us with a combination of keys to take the screenshot on a mac, as follows:

For a normal, full screenshot, use the following combination:

Command+Shift+3

To capture only a certain selected zone of your screen use:

Command+Shift+4

and select the area you wish to print.

 

You can also take a screenshot for a window that you have open by using:

Command+Shift+4, then space, then click on a window
